CAPE AIR/NANTUCKET AIRLINES AT A GLANCE

Cape Air started air service in October 1989, serving the Provincetown, MA to Boston, MA route with one aircraft and ten employees. In the first year, we carried twelve thousand passengers. In the 11+ years since, we have expanded to serving 17 cities in three different regional markets (New England, southern Florida, and the Caribbean) with almost 50 aircraft and over 450 employee owners.

In New Englands high (summer) season, we operate frequent flights from Boston, Providence, and New Bedford, MA to the islands of Nantucket and Marthas Vineyard. We also connect passengers from Boston to Provincetown as well as Provincetown to Nantucket. We continue to operate hourly service from Hyannis to Nantucket since the merge of Cape Air with Nantucket Airlines in February of 1994.

In southern Florida, we currently operate as a Continental connection out of Tampa to Key West and a Delta connection from Ft. Myers to Key West. We also have frequent, in-season, flights from Ft. Lauderdale to Key West. We are, in the future, seeking to expand upon this great market.

Beginning in November of 1998, we started our Caribbean service with a San Juan, PR to St. Thomas, USVI route. We have since expanded into St. Thomas, USVI; Ponce, PR; and Tortolla, BVI.
