Copa was the first airline in Latin America to operate the Boeing 737-700 and -800 aircraft with this groundbreaking technology. Winglets improve aircraft performance and increase flight efficiency, reducing fuel consumption by 3.5%. In addition, winglets help the environment by reducing noise and pollution.

Copa is the first airline in America to utilize Vertical Situation Display (VSD) and the Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning system on all its airplanes. These sophisticated tools give the pilot a clear picture of the airplane's flight path, calculating its altitude, speed and position, and displaying the information in integrated, easy-to-interpret graphics.

Inspired by a passenger survey, the design of the Boeing Interior Sky cabin redefines the experience of being aboard a 737 from beginning to end. The new Sky Interior includes additional baggage room, improved service units, more modern controls for flight attendants, and a more attractive décor.
