Cal-Pacific Airmotive


Cal Pacific Airmotive, Inc. is an FAA Approved Repair Station #BA3R390L for airframe and engine. We maintain customer owned general aviation which include single and twin engine Beechcraft, Cessna and Piper aircraft as well as specializing in the restoration of the North American P-51 for customers and Museums. We fabricate and build complete wing, fuselage, control surfaces, etc. for the P-51. Our facility consists of two 10,000 square foot buildings, a paint booth and is very well equipped. We maintain a clean operation producing quality workmanship. In 1998 Cal Pacific Airmotive was a recipient of the golden Wrench award, awarded at the Oshkosh Airshow for excellence in craftsmanship. The company President, Art Teeters, has been in Aviation for over forty years. In the over twenty years at this location we have experienced a constant work load.

We are located in Salinas, which is in central California along US Highway 101 about 20 miles from the Monterey Coastline, and about 100 miles south of San Francisco. The population of Salinas is approximately 130,000 people.

Situated close to the ocean allows us to enjoy an average temperature of 60-70 degrees and clean air. We are close to many outdoor sports, such as the Laguna Seca Raceway, camping, water sports and within a few hours drive of snow skiing.

The Salinas Valley is known world wide as "The Salad Bowl." The main source of income for Salinas is agriculture. Salinas is the largest supplier of lettuce with broccoli, cauliflower, mushroom and strawberries close behind. Castroville and Gilroy located within an hour of Salinas are known as the Artichoke and Garlic Capitals of the world.
