Flight Options, Inc.
Flight Options, Inc. is the fastest growing, nationally available fractional ownership program available today. Flight Options revolutionized the fractional market by being the first program to offer fractional shares in pre-owned aircraft. By offering shares in pre-owned, investment quality aircraft, Flight Options is able to offer its owners the convenience of private business aircraft at a fraction of the cost.
With a 35% lower initial investment and substantially reduced depreciation costs, this innovation has opened business aviation to a broader range of customers. Not only are ownership and operating costs more affordable and attractive, but this also offers customers the opportunity to upgrade to a larger, faster jet at a comparable investment level of a new, smaller aircraft. Flight Options matches each customer?s mission with a price that meets their expectations.
Flight Options is a wholly owned subsidiary of Corporate Wings, Inc. Founded in 1981, Chairman and CEO, Kenn Ricci envisioned a fully integrated, service-oriented executive transportation company positioned to handle every aspect of modern aircraft operations. A precursor to fractional ownership, Corporate Wings began as an aircraft management and charter company providing charter flight service to several corporate clients. This operation grew to become an industry leader operating over 50 aircraft in with over 150,000 accident free hours.
In July 1997 Corporate Wings began the development of the industry?s first nationwide previously owned aircraft fractional ownership program under the name Flight Options, Inc. While fractional ownership of aircraft was a proven concept with new aircraft, primarily supported by the aircraft manufacturers, Flight Options became the first company to offer a complete line of jets at a 35% savings over the comparable aircraft offered new by other programs.
Since its inception in November 1998, Flight Options has experienced an unprecedented growth rate. This phenomenal market acceptance led the company to break the previous sales milestone of 100 customers by nine months. Just three months later, Flight Options capped off their first full year of operation with the signing of their 150th owner.
On March 31, 2000, Flight Options announced its 371st customer, more than doubling its size in less than six months.
