Columbia Helicopters
A Federal Aviation Administration certified facility, Columbia Helicopters outside maintenance services includes complete engine maintenance. The engine shop is approved for overhaul and repair of the GE CT-58, Allison 250 series, Lycoming 5512 turbo-shaft engines and T62 APU. The facility also includes its own test cell for performing functional checks on all these engines.
Hydraulic component and system repair is also available through Columbia. The company offers complete hydraulic component overhaul for Bell, Boeing, Hiller, McDonnell-Douglas, Sikorsky and Aerospatiale helicopters.
Columbias services also include avionics and electrical systems installation and repair, sheet metal work, non-destructive testing, and custom painting.
The companys light ship facility is dedicated to providing superior customer service on every job, from the simplest to the most complex work. Working with the various maintenance shops within Columbia, the technicians the light ship facility can repair or overhaul virtually any component on a light aircraft or helicopter.
