Flight International
I would like to take a moment to introduce you to Aviation Technologies Group Inc. (ATG). ATG is an aviation engineering firm started in 1989, with a specialty in systems integration. Our staff consists of FAA designated engineering representatives (part 23 and 25), designated airworthiness representatives and professional engineers. ATG has built a reputation with the airlines by providing STC\nulld parts that have been proven to be an improvement in reliability over the original equipment. A review of projects will reveal FAA engineering approvals for the following aircraft: Boeing 737; MD-80; Canadair CRJ; de Havilland Dash 8 (100 & 300); Saab 340A, B and B plus; Beech 1900C& D; EMB 120 (all series); ATR 42 & 72, Bae Jetstream 31, 32 and 41, Shorts 360/330 and Fokker F-27.
Flight Systems, Inc. (FSI), is our 145 certified repair station which handles all our maintenance and modification needs. FSI operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a labor force staffed with qualified airframe & powerplant mechanics. FSI was started in 1995 with a British Aerospace modification contact on the Jetstream 41, but has expanded its heavy maintenance capability to work on virtually every commuter turboprop and the Canadair Regional Jet. To assist our customer, FSI also has A.O.G. teams available upon request.
FSI is located in two hangars on the previous Myrtle Beach Air Force Base in South Carolina. The hangars and office space have been refurbished, establishing a state of the art facility. There is also ample ramp and hangar space on the field for use by customers. International clients have found true financial benefits in the fact that FSI is also located in both a Foreign Trade Zone and a Enterprise Zone.
