FAA Part145 Chief InspectorAn aerospace company is looking for a Part 145 Chief Inspector to interview and start work as soon as possible.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Responsible for inspection process and approving item(s) prior to delivery and acceptance by Part 145 customers. 2. Assure that the proper inspection records, reports, and forms used under our Repair Station Manual and as per customer requirements are kept up to date at all times and are properly executed for each item. 3. Responsible for inspection and approving item(s) for return to service as outlined on the Inspectors Rosters Delegation of Authority. 4. Full authority for compliance, changes and enforcement of Part 145 Training Program. 5. Administer and supervise Part 145 OJT training program. 6. Oversees and monitors the tagging and parts identification process. 7. Perform Quality Assurance and Quality Control Audits for Part 145 operations. 8. Responsible for Part 145 receiving inspection compliance. 9. Other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS - Must have minimum 3 years prior inspection experience in an FAA Part 145 environment, - Ability to work with Microsoft Office products and to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufactures maintenance publications and AD and Service Bulletins and STCs. - Ability to accept accountability, assume pro-active leadership, demonstrate initiative and lead by example in teamwork, cross-department cooperation and information sharing - Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills; strong problem solving and analytical skills - Clearly conveys information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message. - Actively participates as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals. - Maintains effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusts effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, and/or cultures. - Possess a strong sense of integrity and ethics - Sets high standards of performance for self and others; assumes responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; self-imposes standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed. - Performs assigned duties on all shifts without encumbrances due to weather or physical location and conditions.
REQUIRED SKILLS A&P license required High School Diploma required Minimum 3 Years Part 145 Experience required.
PREFERRED SKILLS IA preferred. Degree in related field preferred. Part 145 Helicopter experience preferred.
