Stress Engineer - Kirkland, WA - STSES

The Stress Engineer will perform stress analysis of aircraft interior, system, and structural installations.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

        Completes stress analysis documents to meet Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requirements, budget, and project schedules

        Creates preliminary and backup analysis documentation as required

        Utilizes classical analysis methods; NASTRAN modeling experience and FEMAP

        Other duties may be assigned

Requirements

        5+ years of Aircraft Stress Engineering experience

        Bachelors degree (B.S.) in engineering or equivalent

        Must have free body diagram experience

        Extensive experience with hand calculations

        NASTRAN modeling and FEMAP experience

        Aircraft Interior industry experience preferred

        Must be a US Citizen



Position will be a 3 month contract with possiblity of extension based on performance.
