Assemble aircraft structures and associated components with the aid of fixtures and jigs by drilling, filing, filling, honing, reaming, counter-sinking, dimpling, burring and fastening.
Operate equipment as brakes, grinders, band saws, and presses.
Identify different types of corrosion, clean and treat corrosion, remove damaged areas, fabricate parts to repair damaged area, determine rivet patterns, and layouts.
Adhere to all applicable safety and operating procedures and directives.
Maintain quality standards and schedules.
Check work for completeness and accuracy.
Perform all duties while wearing all required safety equipment.
Notify supervision of any/all malfunctions, defect and damage of equipment, material and product.
Keep work area neat and orderly.

Job Qualifications
Candidate must have 4 years depot level experience in structural modifications
Use common hand tools such as drills, reamers, deburrers, files, rivet guns, bucking bars, etc.
Be capable of interpreting schematics and drawings.
Familiar with the use of precision measuring instruments such as; dial indicators, micrometers, gauges, protractors, and calipers.
Experience in close tolerance hole preparation and fastener installation.
High school or equivalent. Must be able to obtain a secret clearance

and test is maintained.

6. Determine that no defective, unserviceable, or unairworthy parts are installed in
any component or articles released by the Repair Station.
7. Submit reports of defects of unairworthy condition in accordance with FAR 145.221.
8. Assure the proper execution and disposition of FAA Form 337 when required,
and a return to service statement.
9. Accomplish the final acceptance of all incoming material, including new parts,
supplies and the airworthiness of articles on which work has been performed outside
the Repair Station by contract.
10. Conduct the preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspection of all
articles processed by the Repair Station and record results as outlined in the
Quality Control Manual.
11. Oversee the proper tagging and identification of all parts and components as
outlined in the Quality Control Manual.
12. Provide for continuity of inspection responsibility, assuring completion of
requir
ed inspection when personnel shift or assignment changes occur.

17. Maintains the Authorized Inspection and Management Personnel Roster book. The
Chief Inspector will assure all inspectors and authorized individuals will have
access to this roster to ensure the status of authorized individuals make all approvals.
18. Maintains the required Contract Maintenance Program and Repair Station
-approved vendor lists.
19. Performs vendor audits and maintains the records associated with these audits.
20. Maintains master list of Repair Station standard abbreviations used on Agusta
Company computer system that allows certain commonly used terms or
identifications to be abbreviated in standard manner. As new abbreviations are
add
or removed the listing of abbreviations will be revised with a new revision
number and date.
21. Maintains the electronic versions of the FAA-accepted Repair Station manuals
in a current condition.
22. Maintains a hard-copy set of the FAA-accepted Repair Station manuals
(a.k.a. Road Copy) in current condition in his office.
23. Makes available to the Repair Stations departments, the required technical data on all necessary aircraft, engines, and appliances, for the maintenance accomplished
and keeping the data current with the latest revision. The data will
include manufacturers maintenance and overhaul manuals, service bulletins,
parts specifications, related Federal Aviation Administration approved data, and
any other technical data used by the Repair Station.
24. Maintains the facility floor space plan. The floor plan is on file in Chief Inspectors
office with an example depicted in this chapter of this Repair Station Manual.

 The Chief Inspector is responsible for proper compliance of the Suspected
Unapproved Parts (SUP) program.
25. Perform other duties and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned

Repair Station are secured and kept current with latest revisions by the

Aviation Administration approved data and other technical data used by the
Repair Station. In addition, assure that all military specifications used in the
overhaul and repair of components have been evaluated and approved by
the component manufacturer.

5. Assure that periodic checks are made on all inspection tools and the calibration of precision test equipment used by the Repair Station and mechanics that have their
own precision equipment. Further assure that a current record of those inspections
and test is maintained.

6. Determine that no defective, unserviceable, or unairworthy parts are installed in
any component or articles released by the Repair Station.
7. Submit reports of defects of unairworthy condition in accordance with FAR 145.221.
8. Assure the proper execution and disposition of FAA Form 337 when required,
and a return to service statement.
9. Accomplish the final acceptance of all incoming material, including new parts,
supplies and the airworthiness of articles on which work has been performed outside
the Repair Station by contract.
10. Conduct the preliminary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspection of all
articles processed by the Repair Station and record results as outlined in the
Quality Control Manual.
11. Oversee the proper tagging and identification of all parts and components as
outlined in the Quality Control Manual.
12. Provide for continuity of inspection responsibility, assuring completion of
requir
ed inspection when personnel shift or assignment changes occur.

13. See that rejected and unserviceable parts are handled in such a way as to prevent
their reuse as serviceable parts.

17. Maintains the Authorized Inspection and Management Personnel Roster book. The
Chief Inspector will assure all inspectors and authorized individuals will have
access to this roster to ensure the status of authorized individuals make all approvals.
18. Maintains the required Contract Maintenance Program and Repair Station
-approved vendor lists.
19. Performs vendor audits and maintains the records associated with these audits.
20. Maintains master list of Repair Station standard abbreviations used on Agusta
Company computer system that allows certain commonly used terms or
identifications to be abbreviated in standard manner. As new abbreviations are
add
or removed the listing of abbreviations will be revised with a new revision
number and date.
21. Maintains the electronic versions of the FAA-accepted Repair Station manuals
in a current condition.
22. Maintains a hard-copy set of the FAA-accepted Repair Station manuals
(a.k.a. Road Copy) in current condition in his office.
23. Makes available to the Repair Stations departments, the required technical data on all necessary aircraft, engines, and appliances, for the maintenance accomplished
and keeping the data current with the latest revision. The data will
include manufacturers maintenance and overhaul manuals, service bulletins,
parts specifications, related Federal Aviation Administration approved data, and
any other technical data used by the Repair Station.
24. Maintains the facility floor space plan. The floor plan is on file in Chief Inspectors
office with an example depicted in this chapter of this Repair Station Manual.

 The Chief Inspector is responsible for proper compliance of the Suspected
Unapproved Parts (SUP) program.

- Minimum ten years overall experience in after sale support, in general or military aviation, preferably helicopter sector.

- Five years experience in contract management and proposals or business development.

Maintenance Test pilots will be responsible for performing test flights and demonstrating aircraft proficiency. Also responsible for performing mathematical calculations, performance data, and landing configurations of the CH-47D, Chinook helicopter.

Qualified Pilots Must:
- Have recorded (and proof presented) a minimum of 1,000 flight hours- Pilot in Command
- Successfully completed AMOC I, Phase I Maintenance Managers Course
- Successfully completed AMOC II, Phase II Maintenance Test Pilot Course
- Hold a valid and current FAA or Military Class II Medical Certificate as prescribed by the Government
- Undergo a Flight Physical upon hire, and annually thereafter
- Be qualified on the CH-47 Delta model, Chinook helicopter
